Lauren Sardi, an assistant professor of sociology in the College of Arts and Sciences at Quinnipiac University, was quoted in a New Haven Register article about how Christmas traditions and routines could help people recover following the Dec. 14 Sandy Hook Elementary School killings.
“For some people, it’s something to lean back on – knowing that despite all this tragedy, there’s hope, redemption and lightness. Others feel hopeless,” she told the Register.
