Quinnipiac University has announced several storm-related schedule changes and cancellations:
- The university is closed on Friday, Feb. 8 and Saturday, Feb. 9.
- All classes are canceled and all offices are closed.
- The Arnold Bernhard Library has closed. Our students may continue to access our more than 100 databases and 450,000 electronic books.
- Ireland’s Great Hunger Museum is closed on Feb. 8.
- The fitness centers on our Mount Carmel and York Hill campuses are open until 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8.
- Our bookstores are closed on Friday, Feb. 8 and Saturday, Feb. 9.
- The undergraduate admissions information session scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9 has been canceled.
The following is the university’s dining schedule for Saturday, Feb. 9:
- The Mount Carmel Dining Hall will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- The York Hill Dining Hall will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- The Bobcat Den will be open from 4 to 11 p.m.
The storm has prompted changes in the university’s shuttle schedule, starting at noon on Friday, Feb. 8, and continuing until noon on Saturday, Feb. 9:
- No town and train shuttle service for the remainder of Friday.
- No Hamden shuttle for the remainder of Friday.
- No express New Haven shuttles Friday evening.
The York Hill, Whitney Village and Westwoods shuttle service will be canceled on Friday, Feb. 8 at 2 p.m. The service will resume normal operations on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m.
The following changes have been made to the schedule of games at our TD Bank Sports Center:
- The women’s ice hockey game vs. Cornell, scheduled for Friday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m., has been rescheduled to Friday, Feb. 8 1 p.m. Gates will open at 11:30 a.m.
- The acrobatics and tumbling meet vs. Baylor, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 9 at 11 a.m., has been postponed. No make-up date has been scheduled.
- The women’s ice hockey game vs. Colgate, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 9 at 4 p.m., has been rescheduled to Saturday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.
- The women’s basketball game vs. Monmouth, scheduled for Monday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m., has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets will be honored for the new game dates and times. Fans who cannot attend the rescheduled dates or times have the option to exchange that ticket for a future game.
